HONDA CB550 FADE TO BLACK BY FEDERAL MOTO
The number of Honda CB cafe racer customs has been magnificent over the years; therefore the next thing to get your attention must be pretty special. That is exactly what the “Fade to Black” CB café sports racer is. The name itself is enough to reel you in.
The CB550 from 1975 belongs to a Canadian movie director, Grant Harvey. For his 50th birthday on his wife’s suggestion, he brought his bike for a redux. He went with the bike to Federal Moto. Amongst the upgrades made the 1975 version now has a Dynoman Stage 1 Performance kit that includes 572 cc engine and forged pistons with boosted compression ratios from 9:1 to 10:1. There has been a ton of changes including uprated gaskets and a stronger clutch to handle the extra power. A finished tank in matte black with a glossy black stripe makes the tank look different from before. It’s now a CB360 tank. | PURCHASE |
